This website is operated by Jamie Christopherson ("we", "us", or "our"). We are the entity responsible for the personal information collected through jamiechristopherson.com.au. You can reach us at any time at jamie@edgeworldwide.org.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us, or that is necessary for the site to function. This includes:

• Enquiry details. When you use the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, organisation (if provided), the type of enquiry, and the message you send.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider may automatically record limited technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running reliably.

If you choose to contact us, you consent to us collecting and using the details you provide to respond to your enquiry. Providing this information is voluntary, but we need it in order to reply.

We do not collect sensitive information, and we ask that you do not send it through the site.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and it does not use analytics. It stores a small amount of information in your browser for essential functions only.

Two items may be stored. jc-cookie-ack is kept in local storage and records that you have dismissed the cookie notice, so it is not shown to you again. jc-splashed is kept in session storage and records that the brief introductory animation has already played, so it plays only once per visit. Session storage is cleared automatically when you close the tab.

This information stays in your browser, is not used to track you across other websites, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Fonts and all other assets are served directly from this website. We do not load fonts, analytics, or other resources from third-party services, so no data about your visit is shared with outside providers such as font or advertising networks.

One exception applies. The feature article page includes a video hosted on YouTube. Nothing is requested from YouTube when you open the page, because the preview image is served from this website. If you choose to press play, the video is then loaded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. At that point YouTube receives your IP address and may set its own storage in your browser, governed by Google's privacy policy rather than ours.

Disclosure to others

We do not share your personal information except where it is necessary to operate the site or where the law requires it. This may include:

• Trusted service providers, such as our website host and email provider, who help us run the site and respond to enquiries.
• Authorities or advisers, where disclosure is required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Any service provider we use is expected to handle your information securely and only for the purpose we engage them for.

Overseas storage

Our website host and email services may store data on servers located outside Australia. Where your information is handled overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with applicable Australian privacy laws.

This includes serving the site over a secure connection and limiting access to enquiry data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
